Tax Manager, FTSE 250, Cambridge

This leading construction and property Group sits firmly within the FTSE250 Index and is currently looking for an ambitious and adaptable individual to join their corporate tax team as a Tax Manager. The Group already employ over 21,000 people across the UK, Middle East and Australia and exhibit a particularly diverse and friendly culture, whilst maintaining their market-leading reputation.

Reporting directly in to the Senior Corporate Tax Manager, your main responsibility will be to provide global tax support across the Group, ensuring opportunities to deliver value are maximised, risks are managed, and all compliance obligations are dealt with efficiently. Moreover, you will be responsible for liaising with and providing tax support to the wider business and supporting the Head of Tax with their tax advisory projects.

Responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Group Head of Tax with planning projects, such as BEPS, acquisitions, HMRC enquiries and international tax issues
Providing tax support to the UK businesses
Preparation of UK corporation tax computations and assisting with year-end
Liaising with external auditors and overseas tax advisors
Managing the group’s quarterly tax instalments payments
Assisting with the group’s SAO compliance work, including documentation and testing of processes and controls
Monitoring the group’s debt cap status
Assisting with Country by Country Reporting requirements.
