Corporate tax role in prestigious commercial global business. Implement transfer pricing policy.

Your new company
Prestigious global business headquartered in the UK is seeking to strengthen its tax team, creating this exciting opportunity.

Your new role
Reporting to the Tax Senior Manager and supervising two direct reports, your main objective will be to implement the group's transfer pricing policy and execute tax forecasting and reporting. In addition to ensuring the group is compliant with global transfer pricing documentation requirements you will also be responsible for implementing a global process to maximise tax incentives, monitor and project manage the completion of the group's R&D claims and execute tax forecasting and reporting to support the financial planning and reporting requirements of the business. This is a commercially focused role and you will enjoy a close working relationship with the wider commercial and finance teams to review any material changes to the business operations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified tax professional with excellent Corporate Tax, transfer pricing and reporting knowledge.
This is an ideal career opportunity for a first time mover from the Big 4 who is ACA/CTA qualified, but would also provide an exciting challenge for someone who is already in an in-house tax role. Given the focus of the role, you will need an international mind-set and the ability to work with dispersed, multicultural and multifunctional teams. Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be a good relationship builder at all levels, able to work in a matrix organisation and manage multiple stakeholders. You will have experience of developing a team and coaching junior colleagues. You will demonstrate a results oriented mindset, high levels of initiative adaptability and flexibility.
