My client is a mid tier firm of Chartered Accountants with a strong national footprint and a growing international presence.
The private client department of the London office provides a wide range of professional services to wealthy individuals spanning UK and non-UK residents as well as non-domiciled clients.
As the firm’s operations continue to expand, so do their requirements to recruit additional talent.
In this role as a Private Client Tax Associate Director, your main responsibilities will be to manage and develop a large and complex portfolio of cases on behalf of clients that are mainly HNWI’s and their families.
Your existing experience of handling UK resident non-dom planning, OMBs, entrepreneurs and international private clients will be well-suited to this opportunity and it is anticipated that you will be CTA and/or STEP qualified, with an established private client tax career gained in a reputable accountancy firm also.
You will have the chance to provide practical and commercial tax advice, while looking to uncover and then mine new tax planning and cross-referral opportunities through your own networking activities, as well as from existing clients.
You will control WIP and oversee billing arrangements for a portfolio of clients, including reviewing fee proposals, agreeing fees with partners/clients, issuing fees and debt collection.
Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will not only be effective in cultivating and maintaining good professional relationships with existing and new clients, but also internally. It is further anticipated that the successful candidate will mentor and develop junior members of the team within the department.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager who is looking for a step up the career ladder, with further progression prospects to full Directorship when you are ready.
