Preston based firm looking to recruit personal tax portfolio manager to handle tax compliance | £25/35k DOE

Your new company
An established firm of Chartered Accountants specialising in providing an array of services in audit, accounts, Tax and business advisory services. Based in Preston with free on-site parking an easily accessible, out of city centre location, this 3 partner firm are looking to recruit a new Personal Tax Manager to join their existing tax team.

Your new role
As a personal tax manager you will be responsible for your own portfolio of personal tax clients ranging from high net-worth individuals, sole traders, partners and directors of limited companies and some trusts. You will be the first point of contact for your clients and be accountable for the filing and submission of self-assessment tax returns and handling ad-hoc enquiries. Complex matters will be escalated to a Tax consultant or Tax partner whilst you will assist in the general report writing.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this position you will have experience of managing your own varied portfolio of personal tax clients from within practice. You will posses excellent communication skills in order to establish and maintain close client relationships and to identify new business opportunities and cross-sell between departments. Candidates that are ATT/ CTA qualified will be looked upon favourably however this is not essential.

In return for your efforts you will receive a competitive salary of between £25,000-£35,000 dependent on experience and 21 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday.
