Personal Tax Manager, Cambridge

AJ Chambers are currently exclusively recruiting for a Personal Tax Manager for a leading accountancy practice based near Cambridge. The successful candidate will have the responsibility for all aspects of their clients' work and the opportunity to get involved in business development activity. Personal Tax Manager Responsibilities
• Handle a portfolio consisting of high net-worth individuals, directors and trustees
• Providing advice on capital gains and inheritance tax
• Meeting with new and existing clients to progress projects and strengthen relationships
• Attending meetings with clients to discuss and finalise tax matters
• Manage a team of tax accountants, encouraging a culture of continuous development
• Supervising and reviewing work completed by junior members of staff
• Providing technical advice to all sectors of the firm
• Monitoring and recording staff performance

Personal Tax Manager Requirements
• You will be ATT/CTA/STEP qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience in a client facing role, managing a private client portfolio in the past
• Proven tax compliance experience including; Capital Gains Tax planning, Remuneration planning, IR35, Trusts/IHT, P11D, Property income
• Ability to interact effectively with all colleagues across the group and wider business
• Willing to occasionally travel to other office sites across Cambridgeshire
