OMB Tax Manager, Northeast Scotland

A large northeast Scotland-based accounting firm is looking for a new Manager to join their expanding Tax team in Aberdeen, dealing with Owner Managed Businesses. This role would suit a tax specialist with middle-management experience and a strong background in both Private Client Tax or Personal Tax and Corporate Tax. Experience with inheritance tax and trust tax is a big plus. Candidates must be capable of managing a team of junior tax specialists and overseeing both compliance and specialist advisory projects for a diverse client base. The successful candidate will be a team player with a relevant qualification (ATT/CTA/CA or equivalent) and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workloads with tight deadlines is a must, as well as commercial awareness.
