Clark Wood are delighted to be working with this well renowned regional firm of accountants who, as a result of continued growth and success, are now looking to add a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to their team in Rugby.
The successful individual will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently.
This position will also involve working closely with partners and senior managers within the team on tax planning and advisory projects as well as tendering to prospective clients.
Our client is looking for someone with proven experience and a track record of developing lasting relationships with a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors. The ideal candidate will hold be CTA Qualified or may be ACA / ACCA Qualified.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and co-ordinate the provision of tax compliance services for a portfolio of clients
Assist the Partners in the provision of planning and advisory work
Reviewing more complex corporation tax returns and computations
Identifying Tax planning opportunities
Allocation of work to more junior members of staff
Provide direction and support to junior members of staff in respect of all aspects of consultancy and compliance work
Develop/maintain areas of specialisation as agreed with the partners
Assist partners with project/consultancy work
Maintain awareness of UK taxation developments and other relevant taxation and accountancy developments
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
ACA / ACCA / CTA Qualified
Experience of managing a portfolio of commercial clients
