A large professional services firm is seeking talented Indirect Tax Managers to join their team with a focus on their Land and Property projects. You will have a mixture of advisory and compliance experience, within any sectors, but with interest in the Real Estate sector.
You will sit within a broader team that in addition to market leading Real Estate clients, services FTSE 101 – 750 companies, privately owned businesses, healthcare, high net worth individuals and the not for profit sector. You will gain exposure to many projects outside of real estate to develop your wider Indirect Tax knowledge and skills.
Projects range from one-off initiatives providing bespoke solutions to specific problems, working collaboratively with other specialisms to deliver joined-up solutions to the client, through to advising UK clients on their international VAT obligations. One thing is guaranteed: the indirect tax practice, and the middle market team, in particular, offers a wide variety of opportunities.
You will be joining an expanding team and will work closely with their ambitious leaders who are motivated to drive the professional development of their team.
Personal Requirements:
• An exposure to advising clients from a range of sectors and industries with VAT issues.
• A motivated, proactive individual that has the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Someone who will respond well to being encouraged to shape and actively manage their career development through involvement in a broad variety of work.
The successful candidate will be ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) and have demonstrable Indirect tax experience.
