Title: Global Mobility Manager
Location: South West London

Our Client, a global FMCG firm, are looking to hire a highly experienced Global Mobility Manager , to join their corporate EMEA Headquarters in South London. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all tax and immigration processes and assignments run smoothly as well as managing all Global Mobility finances across the EMEA region. This role would suit an individual who has extensive experience dealing with senior management and expatriates in multinational organisations, and with a robust knowledge of immigration law, visa processes and personal tax across the EMEA.

This is an opportunity to join the forefront of improving the health of people worldwide and would attract a salary of approximately £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
Roles and responsibilities would include, but may not be limited to the following:
• Managing the company’s vendors to ensure all assignments run smoothly
• Supporting international assignments within the EMEA region to ensure a smooth and efficient process
• Ensure tax and immigration processes are compliant with local and international regulations across EMEA
• Make recommendations to further develop Global Mobility policy and process
• Manage all finances for Global Mobility across EMEA region
• Guide and support HR team to ensure consistent management of all assignees
• Manage vendor in preparing assignees payroll for the UK and Netherlands
• Manage the outsourcing of modified payroll for international assignees
• Ensure appraisal and bonus process are efficiently managed between home and host countries
• Key appraisal and bonus data for reward purposes in a timely fashion
• Responsible for development of annual budget for all inbound assignments
• Work with Finance to establish global POs for major vendors
• Invoice management for expatriate services
• Negotiate, renew/select vendors for assignees such as immigration, relocation and insurance and regularly review vendor performance in order to achieve cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction
• Liaise with 3rd party supplier to manage immigration process
• Manage vendor to develop balance sheets, provide housing data and initial assignment letters
• Update and maintain assignment tracker
• Manage international medical insurance membership for assignees and their accompanying families, track and manage quarterly payments and recharges to relevant affiliates
• Contribute to EMEA Mobility projects such as policy vendor reviews and develop and maintain appropriate checklists and immigration information
• Further develop policy and process on all global mobility, including SOPs, manuals etc
• Building and developing relationships and working alongside global and international HR departments, Finance and Accounting, Legal, Tax Consultants, Immigration Consultants, Insurance Companies, Relocation Agencies, Real Estate Agencies, Shipping Companies etc and senior leadership individuals including expats
Knowledge and Experience Required
• Extensive and detailed International Mobility experience of working in a multinational organisation dealing with senior management levels
• Extensive experience in selection and management of external vendors including tax, relocation etc
• Dealing directly with expatriates at all levels
• High level of aptitude and interest in use of HRIS applications
• Detailed knowledge of immigration law and visa processes across EMEA
• Detailed technical knowledge of personal tax, social security and corporate tax issues relating to assignments
• Experience of working with Rewards / HR staff
• Graduate or equivalent level, professional (part) qualification in reward and / or international mobility ideal
• Additional languages desirable
Skills and Competencies
• Technical expat management experience especially in relation to tax, social security and work permits
• Understand implement expatriate processes and policies
• Skilled in using and interpreting expat tools such as cost of living and housing data (eg Mercer)
• Strong organisational and time management skills to work around conflicting priorities
• Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• High attention to detail
• Deal with questions and concerns from expatriates in an appropriate and timely manner
• Excellent verbal, numeracy and written skills
• Identify and suggest process improvements
