In-house Tax Accountant -South Manchester

Reporting directly into the Tax Controller, this key role within the finance team focuses on a mix of tax, corporate and indirect, as well as some core finance duties

• Preparing monthly VAT returns
• Responsible for the preparation of annual Pay Settlement Agreements (PSA) and Plld’s
• Undertake the preparation of Corporation Tax packs and assist in the completion and submission of year end Corporation Tax returns
• Reconciling control accounts, including vat and pension
• Undertake additional ad hoc activities to support the Tax Controller

This is a great role for someone with a reasonable amount of UK tax experience looking to move in house and focus on a career in taxation. Alongside 2+ years of UK tax you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence colleagues at all levels. It is not necessary to have experience of all taxes but a willingness to learn is essential as full support and training will be provided
