International Tax Manager (German Speaker) – New York City, NY

A Manhattan based boutique International Tax CPA firm seeks an International Tax Manager with 5+ years’ experience gained within a CPA environment. With approximately 30 employees the firm has built a reputation over the last 20 years of being a major service provider to European corporations seeking to do business in the USA, many for the first time. A diverse environment with over 5 different languages spoken in the firm they have a real preference for bi-lingual individuals.

You will be focussing on US international inbound tax work, you will analyse consequences of foreign-owned entities by US persons, including the application of the PFIC regime, the CFC regime, and the interaction of such classifications with foreign domestic laws.

You will review US federal income tax and information returns for foreign corporations, partnerships and disregarded entities. You will also manage, monitor, and develop staff to insure quality of client deliverables as well as consulting with foreign entities on options available to reduce US withholding tax.

Requirements:

Must have at least 5+ years US International tax experience gained within a CPA firm environment.

Must be CPA qualified (Enrolled agents will also be considered)

Must be fluent in German
