Global professional services firm is seeking an ambitious VAT Manager to join their middle-market team based in London. They work with a broad spectrum of clients including FTSE 350, privately owned businesses, real estate, healthcare, high net worth individuals and the not for profit sector. Projects range from one-off initiatives providing bespoke solutions to specific problems, working collaboratively with other specialisms to deliver joined-up solutions to the client, through to advising UK clients on their international VAT obligations. One thing is guaranteed: the indirect tax practice, and the middle market team in particular, offers a wide variety of opportunities.
You will be joining an expanding team, with ambitious leadership motivated to drive the professional development of their team. You will be trusted with regular direct contact with senior clients, and mentoring junior staff.
Requirements:
• A proven track record in advising clients from a range of sectors and industries on complex VAT issues.
• A motivated, proactive individual that has the ability to build and maintain their own client relationships and to win new business with minimal oversight from Senior Management.
• To be able to assist in the development of VAT technical offerings and to easily disseminate complex messages in a manner that is easy to understand.
The successful candidate will be ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) and have demonstrable Indirect tax experience.
