PricewaterhouseCoopers Investment Management (IM) team is one of the fastest growing areas of PwC's Financial Services tax advisory practice.We are looking for a Manager with strong UK Tax experience to join the team based in London. About the roleThe IM team advises clients across the asset management sector, including mainstream investment managers, private equity houses, hedge fund managers, and infrastructure fund managers. We offer our clients a range of tax compliance and tax structuring solutions for both fund products and management groups. Areas of particular interest to our clients at this time include the opportunities afforded by regulatory change, re-domiciliation, operational tax risk management, EU tax discrimination, the new tax reporting regime, transfer pricing and LLPs.As a manager within the team, you will be responsible for the delivery of services to your portfolio of clients and assisting the director and partner group in the ongoing development of the business. We would expect you to operate across the different sub-sectors within asset management. Our broad client base incorporates many of the largest and most complex fund managers operating in the market today. We would look for you to work closely with these clients and as many of our clients have global reach and part of your time will involve interacting with our global network of investment management specialists.The investment management industry is a dynamic industry facing unprecedented legal, regulatory and tax challenges. Requirements
We are looking to appoint qualified (legal/accountancy) managers with strong UK tax experience to manage client teams and work closely with the Directors and Partners in building all aspects of our business.We are looking for motivated and ambitious candidates with excellent inter-personal skills. Ideally, you will have practical experience of working within one or more of the asset management sub-sectors, but this is not essential.
Essential skills
Degree 2.1 or equivalentACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or equivalent
