Group Tax Manager - fast growing Fintech - c£75k + stock

Founded by three young entrepreneurs, this financial technology start-up company have recently received over $60 million in funding from major investors and have plans for significant international expansion this year. Due to their growth plans, they are looking to hire an experienced Group Tax Manager to join their finance team in a one-of-one role.

You will have full autonomy over the Group’s tax remit, therefore, your main responsibilities will include; working on a variety of tax initiatives cross-functionally across the wider Group, overseeing all international tax matters and ensuring compliance with local tax regimes. You will also be responsible for Group treasury in relation to managing financial risk, optimizing the Group’s capital structure and advising on working capital initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

Overseeing and implementing Group transfer pricing agreements
Supporting the International Accountant on implementation of ongoing processes from a tax perspective
Advise around international expansion
Select and manage all of the appropriate external advisors
Monitoring and planning for impact of BREXIT and the effect of BEPS on the Group
Working with the technology team on R&D claims
Ensure ongoing Group compliance with local tax regimes
Providing support on employee share option schemes
Managing financial risk and optimising capital structure
Optimising cashflow and advising on working capital initiatives.

About You:

Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA or equivalent
Direct experience in setting-up foreign entities and in setting up transfer pricing arrangements
Experience in consolidating group accounts
Strong technical accounting experience, gained in a tax, audit, or financial accounting environment
Strong project management experience
Ability to work under own initiative.
Experience in developing robust and scalable processes.
