Indirect Tax Manager with a Global FTSE 250 Brokerage based in the City
Our client is a FTSE 250 brokerage with an international presence. Due to some internal promotions they are adding to their Indirect Tax team and are now looking to hire an experienced VAT Manager to join them. The role will expose you to a mix of technical advisory work, compliance (preparation and review) and cross departmental projects.
This is an excellent role for someone who is looking to take a step up from their current in house role or a Big4 trained Manager who wants to make their first move in-house.
Duties
* Provide VAT advisory support in connection with both the existing operations of the business and new business developments.
* Provide indirect tax support for the development and delivery of the ongoing operating structure of both the UK and wider international group.
* Preparation and submission of VAT Returns.
* Review and update existing UK VAT return process, identifying ways to improve and enhance the current process.
* Participating in a variety of different projects with the Head of Tax, Corporate Tax Lead, Indirect Tax Lead etc
* Working on their Transfer Pricing work stream.
About You
* Experience with Oracle and Hyperion would be beneficial
* ACA/CTA qualified
