About the team
PwC is looking for an Executive Reward Survey & Research Analyst to join its Reward Survey Team based in PwC’s Embankment Place office.
The team source executive remuneration and other reward information, providing data to both internal and external clients. Our key outputs are an annual participant-only Executive & Management Reward Survey and an Annual Report Database.
We are a small team that work closely together to meet our key survey and data output deadlines. The work involves regular contact with both survey participants and PwC staff.
About the role
The role will contribute to three main survey team activities:
The preparation and production of survey output and databases;
The provision and analysis of data to internal and external clients;
The maintenance of internal databases and data models.
Play a lead role in PwC’s Executive Reward and Management Survey, including data collection, data analysis and reviewing submissions for data integrity;
Responsibility for weekly import of data to an Annual Report Database;
Maintenance of investor recommendation and AGM vote database.
Provision and analysis of data
Respond to data requests from internal and external clients. Involves selection of appropriate data, data verification, presentation and analysis of results. Also involves liaising with senior managers and clients to clarify data queries;
Input into executive compensation and management reward publications;
Analyse data and assist team leader in identifying trends for bespoke reward surveys.
Maintenance of internal databases and data models
Required to understand all the components collected in our annual report database and the technical platforms used to update it;
Manage Excel analysis independently and incorporate sense checks to ensure accurate results;
Manage Survey mailbox so that all data requests and queries are handled quickly and efficiently.
Essential skills and experience
Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel and Office;
Strong problem solving skills;
High attention to detail;
Comfortable working with multiple tasks and strict deadlines;
Good people skills and ability to work with clients.
Knowledge and ability to work with MS-Excel VBA would be an advantage.
Essential knowledge areas
Detailed knowledge of executive remuneration, incentive structures and performance and remuneration reporting;
A Good understanding survey methodologies, including knowledge job matching, job hierarchies, reporting lines and responsibilities.
