Group Tax Specialist, London, to £55k + bonus + pension

This organisation has operations in over two hundred locations worldwide and provides a range of services to customers of various sizes. Delivering advice for over a century, this organisation is steeped in history and head quartered in a prime Central London location.

As Group Tax Specialist you will report to the Senior Tax Manager and assist with compliance, forecasting and reporting. In addition, you will work on wider projects including; transfer pricing, international planning and indirect tax management.

Key duties include:

Preparation of corporation tax returns for a portfolio of UK companies using Alphatax
Assistance with preparation and review of UK VAT returns on a monthly basis
Assistance with forecasting of global effective tax rate across 50+ countries and over 150 entities
Assistance with year end reporting under FRS 102
Preparation of the Group tax charge, together with notes to the Group accounts
Assisting with global tax compliance risk management, including VAT and sales tax
Building relationships with Regional & Country Finance Managers
Assisting with transfer pricing, including management charges and license fees.

About you:

Proven UK corporate tax background
ACA qualified or equivalent
CTA/ADIT preferred but not essential
Knowledge of UK GAAP and international accounting standards
Professionally trained (Big 4 / Top 10) and looking for first/second step in-house.
