Hays Senior Finance are proud to be working on behalf of this medium sized business in Southam, to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant.

Your new role
Reporting into the Group Financial Director, you will meet Statutory and Tax compliance requirements of the business, overseeing month end accounting for areas such as fixed assets, stock, royalties and prepayments. You will take ownership of the balance sheet and reporting, assisting with the control, maintenance and development of the key accounting systems. You will also be developing and mentoring 3 members of staff.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant, and have knowledge and understanding of Financial Accounts, preparing Tax Computations and Statutory Accounts, with ideally a minimum of three years accounting experience gained either in Industry or Practice. You will have a controlled, analytical and methodical approach to tasks. The ideal candidate will challenge methods and systems to ensure best practices and methods are followed.
