A new position for an M&A Tax Manager has been created in this privately owned business as a result of their continuing ambition to grow globally. Reporting to the Global Head of Tax you will take ownership of M&A activity and be the main point of call for any internal deal parties. Responsibilities include:
* Review of the deal to identify the tax issues depending on the tax jurisdiction of each project
* Assist in structuring the deal to ensure the funding is appropriately accounted for and tax attributes included in the modelling and deal bids
* Review of the sale and purchase agreements to ensure tax is effectively covered and warranties and indemnities are appropriate to each dealt with in the sale and purchase agreements
You must have experience of dealing with transactions (more so from buy side) and carrying out the due diligence. The client is open to someone from the profession or in-house although you would need to be able to demonstrate the ability to manage key stakeholders internally and provide value to the deals team.
