VAT Analyst, Kent

A leading plc events management company are looking to bring on board a part or fully qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CTA tax accounting professional who has vat experience to join a fun, vibrant, fast paced, close knit team. This company operates globally with a lot of ongoing projects within digital marketing!

This VAT Analyst position will be based in Kent with opportunity to travel to the London office, reporting directly into the EMEA VAT Manager working on a broad range of UK and European VAT compliance work with a key focus on driving the accounting vat processes. It's a very hands on role where you'll be thrown right in the mix of the business.

* Act as a key VAT specialist reporting controller by maintain and clearing VAT general ledgers and management accounts.
* Preparing monthly group tax reporting for VAT GLs and VAT returns.
* Create and maintain up to date accounting and data documentations
* Manage workflow VAT approvals for AR and AP invoicing and events set up.
* Supporting the EMEA VAT Manager with internal and external VAT audits
* Commercial involved across the business strands with regular interaction with various stakeholders
