Interim Tax Analyst, Private Equity Firm, to £220 per day

My client a large Private Equity firm based in central London are looking for a Tax analyst for a 9 month contract.

This role has come about due to a period of transition and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of tax jurisdictions whilst working within this team.

The role will be primarily tax compliance for the offshore funds, providing support in the compilation and distribution of tax information to appropriate internal and external recipients. The role also requires coordinating with multiple external providers which can be complex due to the multiple international locations of the fund vehicles as well as both its investors and investments.

* Efficiently collate tax information internally/externally of underlying investments
* Prepare complex reconciliations of multiple entity types
* Accurately input and track tax data into various software tools
* Assist in preparation and packaging of US Federal and State tax returns
* Accurately draft letters for document submissions to tax authorities
* Day to day management of process timetables
* Draft responses to multi-jurisdictional tax queries to ensure these are dealt with in a timely manner
* Assist in documenting process management

Required Skills:

* Proficient in Excel and Word
* Tax experience (ideally multi-jurisdictional)
* Previous experience working in a financial/numbers orientated environment would be beneficial.
