Tax Manager, Investment Management Firm, London

This leading investment management firm are looking for a London based Tax accountant, responsible for the preparation and the review of the UK corporate tax return and VAT filings.

List of responsibilities:

* Prepare and/or review UK corporate tax return filings;
* Manage third party service providers in preparing, reviewing and filing European region income tax return returns;
* Work closely with US Parent consolidating company in various aspects of the global tax function;
* Responsible for corporation tax and VAT filings for Europe;
* Calculating and paying VAT and corporation tax for EU entities;
* Work with parent company on impact of joining VAT group;
* Assisting external providers in foreign VAT claims;
* Prepare and/or review Tax Accounts reconciliation;
* Calculation and/or review of quarterly and year-end corporation income tax provisions;
* Prepare and/or review income tax footnotes and disclosures for annual financial statements;
* Prepare and/or post all relevant tax journals;
* Assist with FATCA/CRS/Etc. registration, filing, and queries;
* Assist with global OECD initiatives (i.e. BEPS Country by Country Reporting, etc.)
* Maintain European low tax risk rating;
* Manage tax authority's examinations across Europe;
* Assist with transfer pricing allocations;
* Assist with Tax planning;
* Special / ad-hoc projects

Skills:
* In addition to technical (tax and accounting requirements needed for UK/EMEA region)
* Experience with US GAAP (ASC 740 and FIN48)
* Familiarity with OECD rules (transfer pricing, BEPS, etc.)
* IFRS Knowledge
