An international speciality insurance group is looking for a tax professional to join their growing international division, based in their London offices. This insurance group transacts more than 100 speciality insurance classes in 180 countries, with a big status in the London market.
The purpose of this role will be to assist the Head of Tax in the Reporting & Compliance aspects of tax in their international division, liaising with the corporate tax function and internal/external auditors on various reporting requirements. Because the role sits within the international division, you will be working very closely with the UK and US tax departments, as well as involvement with transfer pricing transactions and reports across the European offices.
* Creating and maintaining tax reports across the business strands
* Reporting and analysing for the UK and US tax departments
* Calculating and preparing tax figures i.e Solvency II reporting, premium taxes, PSA, various policies
* Reviewing and drafting reports as well as the chance to work on specific projects with other team member
The ideal candidate will be a part or fully qualified tax professional (ACCA,ACA,CIMA) with a strong understanding of reporting and compliance. Insurance industry knowledge and experience is desirable but not essential.
