US/UK Expatriate & Personal Tax Director
£120,000 - £180,000 PA plus benefits.

I am working with a successful and growing consultancy firm to help in the hiring of the future leader of its London based US/UK Expatriate and Personal Tax (HNWI) function.

Focussing on both individual HNWI (who may or may not be a member of a mobility programme) and small to mid-sized programmes you will be tasked with running and growing a team with the aim of making Partner over the next 12-24 months. This is a non-frequent opportunity to make a move at a senior level and quickly establish yourself as a leader within this field. You will seek to leverage and lead the existing team and be provided with a great deal of support by the other Directors and Partners within the wider business. It is likely that you will be focussing most acutely on the Financial Services sector including Hedge Funds, PE Houses, retired banking HNWI and smaller Investment and Retail Banks.

I am looking for someone who has operated at a ‘senior’ Senior Manager or Director level. The successful candidate doesn’t have to be an EA qualified individual (though this is always a positive) but will have substantial advisory (potentially including in-house employment) experience within this space. This may come from a BIG 4, Top 10 or Boutique firm.

You will:

Lead on engagements / with UHNWI / VIP’s in relation to complex personal tax issues across the US/UK
Be a ‘people person’ able to lead and encourage excellence from your growing team.
Be looking to progress to Partnership within the firm.
Ideally be seen and known as a Subject Matter Expert within this space and / or have a visible market presence in US/UK HNWI and Expat Tax commentary.

The offer:

The role will pay £120,000 - £180,000 PA subject to experience and offers realistic and quick promotion to Partnership.
