JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Manager / Generalist will:
Reconcile income tax accounts, calculate income tax payments, and identify issues that may arise in tax dealings
Perform estimations, analysis, planning and research and oversee audits
Provide effective tax planning to clients and maintain strong relationship with client base
Work to expand client base and supports business development activities
Coordinate with Partner to ensure timeliness and effective communication for proper planning of project
Recognize importance of budgeting and adhering to budgets
Review assignments and provide feedback and assistance
REQUIRED SKILLS
6+ years of Public Accounting experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA or parts passed
Knowledge of all aspects of Tax Law (Corporate, Individual, Trust, Gifts, and Partnership Taxation)
Microsoft Excel proficient
Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
Desired Skills
Master's Degree in Taxation
Knowledge of Real Estate and/or International Tax
Working knowledge of ProFX and Go File Room
