In the role, you will be situated in the Employment Tax Advisory practice, as part of a national team with a focus on the London market. You will be responsible for providing employment tax advisory services for a range of clients, also acting with a view to winning work from both existing and potential clients. The role therefore expects that you be market-facing and are able to convert opportunities into chargeable projects, as well as deliver on technical work. You will take control of your own portfolio of clients and support them with employment tax compliance/risk work as well as implementing tax-efficient reward structures. Other duties include drafting technical letters and technical reports, understanding and adhering to cost budgets, meeting reporting timetables and preparing key client reporting documents. You will also supervise and support the growth of more junior staff and develop strong professional relationships within the firm.
You must have excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills together with an ability and desire to understand each client's business. You should be ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent, have excellent knowledge of employment tax legislation and possess good commercial awareness and the ability to spot cross-referral opportunities.
