Our client is a top end global Financial Services firm operating worldwide looking to hire a Corporate Tax reporting manager in to their London office.
The EMEA Tax Compliance and Reporting team are responsible for all tax accounting activities, ensuring that the tax liabilities of our client operations across EMEA are correctly reflected in its financial statements, and that the underlying accounts are appropriately monitored and controlled.
The position is expected to play a key role in Tax Department efforts to streamline and automate tax accounting processes in the region, and to maintain a robust internal control environment in line with SAO best practice.
This includes managing the quarterly and year-end reporting process (US GAAP and IFRS), provision calculations, effective tax rate analysis and identifying tax risk items on a legal entity basis.
o Day to day coordination of the tax audit process with external auditors and resolution of technical tax and accounting queries in relation to quarterly and year end reporting and financial statements.
Experience of both US GAAP and IFRS essential.
Experience of tax technology/automation project implementations and a genuine interest in this field is highly advantageous. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
