Are you looking to step up your tax career to the next level and move in-house for the first time? Do you seek the professional development value of working in a large, complex organisation and already possess experience working in expatriate tax or deferred compensation?

If the answer is yes, then do not miss this exciting role for an AVP/VP that has come up within the EMEA Deferred Compensation team of a leading global bank. You will be part of an organisation that has pioneered revolutionary developments in financial services and conducts business in over 150 countries and jurisdictions worldwide. It is dedicated to sustainable economic growth and progress for both clients and customers, acting responsibly and managing risk.

The Deferred Compensation team is part of the EMEA Reward and Mobility function within the HR division. You will report to the Head of International Tax and Deferred Compensation, and be expected to develop in-depth knowledge of the bank's equity and deferred cash programs, enhancing processes and usage of systems to maximise efficiencies as well as engaging in compliance work. You will demonstrate knowledge of the business, products, geographies and risks and identify solutions through project work. You will develop an excellent relationship with HR, the Global Equity Compensation unit and with senior managers. Key responsibilities also include growing an understanding of the tax and social security withholding and reporting requirements, and analysing large amounts of data as part of the year-end vesting process in order for tax and social security rates to be established.

To succeed in this role, you will have expatriate tax or deferred compensation experience gained in a professional services firm. You should have significant experience of managing, manipulating and presenting data, being PC literate with an advanced knowledge of Excel. Key competencies required for the role include organisational agility, negotiation skills, business acumen and a customer focus. CTA or a similar qualification is preferred but not essential.
