Interim Tax Manager (FATCA) in City of London

This role involves i) supporting the product advisory tax team in advising the Wealth Management and Asset Management lines of business and ii) working with colleagues in the product tax advisory team advising on implementation of the FATCA / IGA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) regimes.

In particular:

· Understanding the transactions / products of the Wealth Management and Asset Management lines of business;
· Understanding the application of FATCA IGA / CRS regimes to products and services, particularly in the EMEA region;
· Communicating tax analyses and risks succinctly and clearly to immediate team members and also to non-tax specialists external to the group.
· The successful candidate will also work with external tax advisors, as well as partnering internally with global Corporate Tax colleagues (including colleagues covering VAT) and non-Tax colleagues (such as the Business, Legal, Finance, Operations etc.).
