This is an exciting opportunity working within a private client team and supporting the partners, management team and clients on matters in relation to UK and offshore trusts and their beneficiaries. Your main responsibilities will include:
To manage a portfolio of trust clients:
To prepare and analyse trust accounts and working papers:
To prepare tax returns for trust, estate and beneficiary clients;
To understand and interpret the effects of trust deeds and wills:
To deal with ad-hoc trust tax queries:
To keep abreast of the current legislation in relation to trust and estate matters.
You will ideally be AAT or part or fully ATT/STEP qualified with experience of completing trust accounts and returns, dealing with estate administration and estate and trust planning. You may currently be working in an accountancy or legal firm. Candidates qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply. You can be based in the Liverpool or Chester office.
