The UK tax practice of this multi-disciplinary transactional team provide a broad range of specialist services to an impressive client base. This includes high net worth individuals, private institutions, listed and multinational companies and blue-chip corporates.
The client base operates in a wide range of industry sectors, both domestic and international.
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious 3-5 years post-qualified Corporate Tax Associate lawyer to join the team.
The role in brief:
Involvement in all aspects of tax planning advice, including supporting M&A transactions as well as some exposure to tax litigation matters
Act as a business advisor, proposing commercial solutions to clients and colleagues
Work autonomously on some occasions and closely with partners on other projects
Responsible for managing and supervising some of the more junior team members where relevant
Assist with business development activities
Identify and take opportunities to cross sell when possible
About you:
You will have trained and qualified with a recognised legal firm and will have gained substantial experience of tax advisory work
Able to work with a degree of independence
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Exceptional drafting skills and legal researching capabilities
An entrepreneurial vision and a desire to get involved with business development
A willingness to travel when required
