JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Tax Director will:

Work with Senior Management on handling audits of Federal, state and local tax filings
Review and work with auditors on income tax provisions for US and international subsidiaries
Review accounting for income taxes for international subsidiaries; liaison with outside public accounting firm(s)
Oversee and work with senior management on transfer pricing studies
Supervise the Tax Compliance Manager
Liaison with senior management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting issues
Work with internal Risk Management Department to ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes
Perform or participate in special projects/duties as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant designation
6+ years of experience serving in a tax role with a nationally recognized public accounting firm
Domestic and international tax experience, including knowledge of partnership / S corporation taxes
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with management and tax and non-tax professionals in an international multi-cultural environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
