This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic accountancy firm in the West End who are looking for a Manager to provide high level support to one of the tax Partners and his portfolio. The clients mainly consisting of HNWIs and OMBs, many of whom are from the World of media, entertainment and sport.
This role is extremely varied and requires someone who is prepared to assist in all portfolio requirements and will also include some elements of accounts, ad hoc consultancy and project work.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day responsibility for the portfolio management, building successful client relationships; providing expert, timely and comprehensive advice.
- Working successfully with other Managers and Partners across the firm to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
- Overseeing the scheduling and workflows on each of the jobs, making sure deadlines and targets are met.
- Reviewing monthly billing and make sure that the Partner is hitting monthly targets.
Skills and qualifications:
- CTA qualified or equivalent
- Understanding and experience of accounting or principles of accounting
- Experience reviewing the work of others
- Working to budgets and managing projects accordingly
- Ability to demonstrate strong technical and commercial awareness
- Self-starter with the ability to work outside of defined parameters
