Corporate Tax Assistant opportunity with a Top 20 firm based in Manchester

Your new company
Your new accountancy practice is a large international Top 20 firm with offices in 87 countries and a UK wide presence. This firm has circa 20 offices in the UK and has a large dedicated tax function that specialises considerably in international tax. Due to considerable expansion and an on-boarding of new clients, this firm are looking to appoint numerous tax professionals across a corporate and personal tax capacity.

Your new role
Your new role as a corporate tax senior will involve managing your own varied portfolio of corporate tax clients consisting of owner-managed businesses, large multi-national companies and groups. As a corporate tax senior you will manage more simple tax advisory matters and the compliance associated with your portfolio of clients. Here you will take accountability for managing the client relationship, liaising over the phone, via email and face to face and also liaising with HMRC on behalf of your client.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will most recently come from a corporate tax background within practice and have experience of managing a varied portfolio. The ideal candidate for this role will be ATT qualified or studying towards it and be confident in liaising with clients via various means.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of between £22,000-£27,000 dependent on experience and 23 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday.
