The role...

The regulatory world is changing fast and new laws related to automatic exchange of information (AEOI) regimes require companies like ours to be ahead of the game. We are looking for a specialist Tax Lawyer to join our team of experts and be able to contribute with the delivery of AEOI related services worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and analysis of international regulations US FATCA, and CRS;
· Advise business on related actions and implementations of regulations;
· Perform and/or review classifications related to Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) regimes;
· Creation and delivery of training for the various international teams;
· Internal liaison for different business partners and stakeholders included but not limited to Legal, Tax, Trust and Corporate Services service line; and
· Transfer knowledge to the business

About you...

The successful candidate will have a background in global Tax Law for a multinational organisation. Our ideal candidate will possess the following experience /skills:

· Tax lawyer with 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a similar role
· Legal degree/Tax degree
· Experience in international organizations
· Knowledge of diverse international structures (from Funds to Private trustee companies)
· Knowledge and experience on client classification-based regulations including US FATCA, and CRS
· Able to communicate openly and effectively with different parties and stakeholders and work under pressure handling tight deadlines
· Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams.
· Fluent In English, other languages a plus
· Able to work under pressure within a multidisciplinary team
· Proactive and flexible
· Excel, Word, understanding of operational XML
· Be able to travel from time to time
