We are currently in the process of recruiting a Private Client Tax Senior/ Executive for one of the UK's most respected national practices. Our client is currently seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Executive to work in a compliance focused role.
The Private Client Tax department deals with tax planning and compliance for individuals and their related structures.
Working closely with the Tax Managers you will deliver a consistently high quality service to clients, whilst continuing to build up your own knowledge and expertise within the tax department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of tax compliance for a portfolio of straightforward clients
Calculate tax liabilities and ensure that tax payments are correct and made on time
Maintain an up to date client status schedule
Monitor WIP, prepare fee proposals for consideration by partners/managers, and chase debts
Assist in dealing with HMRC correspondence and client queries including obtaining relevant or requested information
Liaise with senior team members to regularly communicate progress of work
Continue to develop an awareness of UK taxation and accounting matters
Assist with general administrative duties
Undertakes work on client assignments with close supervision on more complex activities not covered by prescribed processes and procedures
ATT/CTA Part Qualified or Qualified
