As an International Tax Senior, you'll demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and effectively apply your tax knowledge to client situations, developing and delivering innovative tax planning ideas with timely, responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations. You'll also thoroughly and accurately analyze information and prepare quality, practical and creative approaches tailored to a client's tax and economic situation, arriving at appropriate conclusions. Your remit will include managing the work of client service team members and participating in and contributing to attaining team goals.
Client responsibilities
•Participate in international tax engagements
•Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
•Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
•Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
•Build strong internal relationships with other members of the international tax team and across other services
People responsibilities
•Contribute to performance feedback for staff
•Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining international tax professionals
•Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis
•Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
Technical skills requirements
•A minimum of four years tax experience
•Experience within International Tax Services
•Big 4 experience desirable
•CPA and/or LLM certification preferred
•An undergraduate degree, preferably with an emphasis in economics, finance or law (an advanced degree in economics, law, tax or accounting is desirable)
•Strong organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
