JOB DESCRIPTION
The Estates and Trusts Tax Manager will be responsible for:
Form 1040 tax return review
Form 1041 trust tax return review
Preparing trust accountings for state court review
Form 706 federal estate tax, and inheritance tax, return review
Organizing trust and estate financial data and communicating a summary for client advisory decision-making purposes
REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years of experience from either a sophisticated Accounting firm with an Individual Trusts and Estates Practice or Law firm Trust and Estate Group
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Solid Tax background (Compliance, Fiduciary, Individual, Research & Planning, Trust / Estate)
Demonstrated practical Compliance experience
Experience providing Consulting Services
Microsoft Excel proficient
Solid analytical and research skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills
Master's Degree in Taxation
CPA
