US Tax & Financial Services SARL is looking to expand their team of US tax professionals by adding a US tax lawyer with a specialist area in the foreign side of the US Tax law as it pertains to trusts, corporations, partnerships, estates and high net worth clients.
We have offices in London, Zurich, Geneva and Singapore where 60% of our business relates to US Tax compliance and the other 40% is related to US and International Tax Consulting. We opened our doors in Switzerland in 2003 and our founder moved to Switzerland in Jan 2009 to assist the Swiss Bank, Trust Companies, Family offices and over 5,000 of their clients deal with various Voluntary Disclosure programs for individuals and various and structures. In the past four years, we have more than tripled the number of banks and trust companies we work with and have also been successful in more than doubling the number of private equity funds, hedge funds, banks and private family offices we deal with.
Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years` experience US tax law, Trust, Estate, HNWI, FATCA, CRS; Corporate and Partnership are welcome but not required.
- Excellent legal research skills
- It would also be advantageous to have experience in FACTA, CRS and international tax structuring
- Experience reviewing and commenting upon trust, partnership and corporate documents
- Experience drafting legal tax opinions and other written tax advice
- Ability to meet with trust companies and family office and to develop new business
Job Description
- Assist in the development of the trust side of our business
- Work closely with various Family offices, Trust companies, HNWI – Private Banking and Investment management groups
- Advise on cross-border structures (US and non-US, Trust and Corporate), US Tax Compliance, FATCA and CRS issues
- Assist with in-house training, managing staff and draft articles from time to time for publication and public speaking at various events
- Meet Chargeable targets and Sales Targets
