Our client is a prestigious public accounting firm with over 180 professionals working from three different offices across Southern Florida. The firm pride themselves on providing a comprehensive approach to income, estate, financial and investment planning for a diverse client base. To support their continued growth, they are seeking an International Tax Associate or Senior Associate to join their office in Miami.
Under the supervision of Managers and Directors you will be a primary assistant to clients and their needs. You will be working amongst a team of 80 tax professionals to provide a full-service approach to tax preparation, tax planning, and compliance for domestic and international clients. You will also be expected to assist with estate planning and mergers and acquisitions. Client interaction will be a regular part of your daily activity and you will also join the Partners in consulting with clients on their immediate and anticipated requirements.
To be considered, you will possess 2 or more years’ worth of public accounting experience in a tax department. You will have excellent analytical, technical and accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance. Candidates who are already working towards the CPA are also preferred.
