To support their continued growth, they are seeking a State and Local (SALT) Senior Associate or Manager to join their Miami office.
You will be working amongst a team of 80 tax professionals to provide a full range of state and local services including compliance, research, legal entity structuring, creation of technical memorandums and consulting on a wide range of state and local issues. Your compliance duties will include preparing and reviewing SALT tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations. As this is a client facing position, you will be expected to serve as a trusted business advisor to your clients. Other activities will include quantifying and documenting federal and state income tax liabilities for tax returns, extensions and estimated payments.
To be considered, you will possess 3 or more years worth of state and local tax experience in a public accounting firm. You will have excellent analytical, technical and accounting skills matched with the ability to supervise junior members of staff.
