This is a broad tax role in the UK Team covering UK tax reporting for external reporting purposes, UK tax compliance, risk management and partnering with key UK business stakeholders to provide proactive business support.

Key responsibilities;

Providing assistance to team lead in calculation of the multi-million pound tax liabilities for the group
Work with multiple functions including operations in the major territories (US, UK, Netherlands, Ireland, and Hungary)
Stakeholder management – including Group Tax teams, Group Legal and Company Secretarial, Financial Performance & Reporting and external advisers & auditors 
Assist team lead in setting and communicating tax risk strategy across the group
Manage the UK tax compliance process and review of UK corporation tax computations prepared by the shared service centre
Management of the UK tax reporting and compliance process
Assist the team lead in delivering value through tax efficiencies
Advise business and other Group Tax teams on strategic risk issues, including Transfer Pricing, CFC, DTR, PE and WHT
Manage and participate in the year end tax reporting process with responsibility for the UK Team’s deliverables
Delivering value through implementation of ad hoc projects
Assessing the impact of changes in tax law and accounting principles on Group operations and tax position
Maintain a good relationship with HMRC.

About you;

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Proven UK corporate tax experience
Proven UK tax reporting experience
Strong awareness of tax accounting
Commercial experience preferred but not essential
Able to discuss tax technical matter in plain language
