Looking to join one of the most respected mid-tier Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory firms in the UK? Public Practice specialists Clark Wood have an outstanding opportunity for a Private Client Tax Manager to join one of the leading Private Client Tax teams in the UK.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will manage and control a substantial portfolio of personal tax and trust clients, managing the work of a team of staff, ensuring both excellent client service and making a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of the office and firm.
They will be involved in business development initiatives and networking events as required and will be expected to identify and advise on tax planning opportunities and specialist technical assignments (e.g. report writing) as required.
As the role is largely advisory, the incumbent will be supporting the partners with the delivery of high level technical advice and will be required to prepare that advice themselves with minimal supervision. Opportunities to delegate advisory work will be limited, at least initially.
The applicant will preferably be ATT/ CTA qualified, or equivalent.
The CV should show examples of previous experience operating at Manager level in a similar role, proven experience in client handling and proven tax experience in producing high quality work within budget. Any language skills (particularly French) would be advantageous.
