The organisation:
Our client is a multinational business that is seeking a dynamic Head of Group Tax to help the business navigate a period of growth.
The role:
The successful candidate will be accountable for all aspects of tax, directly reporting to the CFO. In addition you will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage the group tax policy and procedures driving continuous improvement
- Ensure the accuracy of tax payments on a global basis and be the point of contact for tax audits and enquiries
- Develop effective and compliant tax strategies identifying opportunities to be more efficient
- Keep up to date with industry and regulatory trends
The person:
You will likely currently be a senior manager in the profession seeking your first move to industry or have spend some time in-house and looking for a more senior role. In addition you will possess the following characteristics:
- Highly commercial skill set and can understand the business issues that are driving tax issues
- Broad corporate international tax experience with a very good knowledge of transfer pricing
- Strong technical skills but able to apply them in a practical and logical sense
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with a confidence in decision making
- ACA or CTA qualified
