Due to substantial growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and established senior tax lawyer to work directly with 2 industry leading Tax Legal Partners and a highly cohesive team. Your role will be varied and challenging involving the provision of a wide range of tax legal advice to an impressive portfolio of local and international clients. Your days will include providing structuring, negotiation and tax legal advice, tax planning, consulting on transactions, guiding clients through tax audits, disclosures, investigations, tax disputes and litigation, trust structuring and joint ventures and estate planning. In addition to your transactional responsibilities, as the senior lawyer in the team you will drive matters forward, effectively manage client relationships, identify and pursue business development opportunities and play an integral role in coaching more junior members of the team.
In order to be successful in this role you will possess 5+ years' post qualified experience in tax law gained from a respected law firm. Admitted lawyers with experience gained in a Big 4 Chartered Accounting firm will also be considered provided you have had legal experience including drafting advices. You have demonstrated ability to take ownership of matters (with guidance as required) whilst working collaboratively with a team structure. You will be driven to identify innovative and commercial solutions for your clients and support the continued growth of the business whilst not being afraid to get your hands dirty taking responsibility for end to end processes.
