Assistant Tax Manager - Private Client £30,000 to £38,000 plus benefits Leeds

CRA financial are delighted to be working on behalf of this national firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an Assistant Tax Manager to their private client team. The team work on behalf of a wide range of clients from trusts, estates to high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and corporate clients. This is a fast growing area of the organisation and as a result good career opportunities within this team.

Key responsibilities include:

* Day to day tax compliance for a portfolio of clients and liason with HMRC. You will also review work prepared by more junior members of the team .
* Involvement with advisory matters whilst being supported by the Senior Tax Manager and communicating with clients.
* Work as part of a management team with other Tax managers within a business group and provide support to the rest of the tax team.
* Participate in bids for new work
* Liase with external parties including HMRC/ solicitors and advisors

The Individual

This role is ideal for someone who is qualified CTA with a minimum of one year's post qualification experience . This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Senior looking for their next step. Individuals should be able to demonstrate significant experience of tax compliance work. Advisory experience would be ideal but not essential and you will get the opportunity to develop this experience. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a client portfolio and the desire to develop your career within this business. Supervisory experience would be ideal but not essential and you will get the opportunity to develop these skills within this role,
