VAT Manager, Reading

We are currently seeking an manager level Indirect Tax / VAT professional to join a top 10 professional services firm in Reading.

You will be involved in the further growth of this service line for the business and as such, your enthusiasm for developing new client relationships will be highly advantageous. You will be expected to research and prepare proposals for new work as required.

You will be involved in the development of solutions for increasingly complex technical issues, so as a manager, you will be expected to be able to demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge in your service area. You'll have the ability and willingness to pass on your knowledge to a small team of professionals who you will lead.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate substantial Indirect Tax experience, with a large portion of this dealing directly with UK based VAT affairs. In order to be sufficiently qualified in this area, we would anticipate you will have a CTA qualification, or similar. We expect that you will have a considerable amount of experience working within a professional services environment, however you may have worked within industry as well.
