Our client is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants who work with a diverse range of organisations and high net worth individuals, offering a broad range of services. They have an interesting opportunity for a Tax Senior who has a particular leaning towards private client work; the role can be developed to include Compliance work and some Advisory work depending on the expertise of the person whom the firm recruits.
The role demands an individual who has the experience to handle their own portfolio (in favour of private client work). Ideally you will be happy to work on some complex compliance clients and will be confident to work closely with your client portfolio. Some clients in particular have been with the firm for many years and will want to enjoy close contact with you as a senior member of the tax team.
Who is the client looking for?
You will be a highly motivated individual who wishes to continue working for an extremely professional firm however enjoy a great work/ life balance working in the local area. You will either be Qualified By Experience, ATT or CTA qualified (perhaps has gained some experience at the Revenue before moving into private practice). You will have significant experience in personal tax. A well-presented and professional individual, looking to work in a leading regional firm who is an effective communicator both with team members and clients.
What is on offer to the right candidate?
A highly competitive package for the Surrey market to include a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 plus the option to work on a part time basis or reduced hour basis.
