We are working in partnership with a leading international CPA firm who is now looking to appoint an experienced US tax manager to join their tax team in two different locations. The successful candidate must have more than 5 years experience in US tax and have strong English and Chinese language skills is preferred. This role would be well suited to candidates that have strong presentation and communication skills and are globally minded with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Key duties of the role will include:

Oversee US tax compliance related matters;
Correspond with the US tax authorities on clients' tax matters;
Prepare and review US federal and state corporate and partnership returns;
Assist in FATCA-related engagements and provide regulatory updates on FATCA to clients;
Manage US tax consulting engagements;
Coach Senior Consultants and Associates; and
Assist in internal and external US tax trainings.

Requirements:

A recognised accounting or equivalent degree;
AICPA qualified;
At least five years of experience in US corporate and/or partnership tax;
Fluent in both written and spoken English;
Proficiency in both Cantonese and Mandarin is preferable;
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills;
Sound analytical and organisational skills;
Leadership skills; and
Experience assisting asset management clients is preferred, but not required.
