Senior Manager – Large Corporate Tax, Manchester, to £70k

My client's Tax practice is a dynamic and successful area, which is a constantly changing and increasingly high-profile field, this has led to them seeking a Senior Manager to join their flourishing Corporate Tax department based in Manchester.

You will be given the opportunity to develop relationships with clients as you help manage the amount of corporation tax they need to pay. This involves workings with clients to produce complex tax computations and returns for HM Revenue & Customs, giving advice on corporate planning and restructuring projects and finding ways to reduce their effective rate of tax.

Responsibilities:

• Working on large, multi-disciplinary projects across multiple jurisdictions
• Assisting in the preparation of detailed technical analysis covering a wide range of UK and international tax issues
• Coordinating with the firm’s transfer pricing, international tax, indirect tax and advisory teams on a range of topics
• Developing and maintaining client relationships
• Assisting with the team’s business development, through leadership and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACA/CA/CFA/ATT/CTA qualification is required
• Extensive experience in either transfer pricing or international corporate tax environment
• Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
• Ability to build durable internal and client relationships.
